Whether it’s photography or painting or cooking or woodworking or digital media, I’ve always enjoyed creative outlets. Most recently it’s been photography. Within this site are some of my favorite photos. I’m certainly not a pro, although sometimes I’m accused of spending like one. I used to shoot Canon, but recently switched to Micro Four Thirds (Panasonic Lumix G85), mostly to keep the size and weight of my kit down, as well as, the breadth of quality glass at relatively reasonable prices. I still have an old Canon 20d with a pretty nice 28-135mm, which does surprisingly well considering its vintage. And as most photographers will tell you, the best camera is the one you have, so you’ll find a handful of shots on this site that were taken on an iPhone or a Canon point-and-shoot. Lightroom does wonders in correcting for poor glass, and ultimately composition is what matters most (in my opinion anyway).
I hope you enjoy.
